Buying a bungalow in Friesland?

At Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer, it’s possible. Our bungalows are located in our beautiful holiday park, situated in a uniquely attractive and green environment. Turn your holiday home into an investment by renting it out!

Besides the fact that this beautiful, well-maintained park is wonderfully located in the middle of nature, it also offers very favourable conditions for rentals with an excellent return. The holiday home may be furnished according to your own taste, as long as it meets the standards set by the owners’ association. Bookings on the website are made by bungalow number, allowing guests to choose exactly which holiday home they want. In addition, Bosmeer Recreatie aims to distribute revenue as fairly as possible across the holiday homes. Bosmeer Recreatie is affiliated with several tour operators such as booking.com, bungalowspecials.nl, and vakantiefriesland.nl. When the holiday home looks neat and is furnished in a modern way, it will generate more revenue because guests will specifically choose it.

You therefore have influence on part of the rental income yourself: the more attractive the bungalow is — for example through stylish interior design, a lovely terrace, bike storage, or a covered outdoor area — the more preferred bookings and total revenue it will receive. If your bungalow is not rented out, you are of course free to use it yourself as the owner.

Rental income goes to the owner; the deductions for rentals amount to 20–29% of the rent.

Fixed costs for the owner include the contribution to the Owners’ Association (2025: €1925 excluding VAT) and the regular costs of owning a holiday home, such as sewer charges, insurance, property tax, and water board fees.
