• For example, you could choose to get married in the Vlechtmuseum here in Noordwolde. This museum is located in the former wickerwork school — a historic building with an authentic atmosphere (a listed national monument).
• Another unique venue is Theetuin de Buytenplaets, also in Noordwolde. A beautifully landscaped tea garden where you and your guests can fully enjoy the gardens, good food and drinks, and each other.
• In the village of Wilhelminaoord, just across the provincial border between Friesland and Drenthe, you’ll find the Koloniekerkje. Another truly special location! Both the civil ceremony and, if desired, the church wedding can be held here.
